Neil Young and Crazy Horsetail

So, I’m listening to Neil Young and Crazy Horse (Year of the Horse; Danger Bird) while cleaning the house. I find a few dried horsetail stems that Ciaran had brought home from a field trip with his Rachel Carson class. These make great panpipes. Naturally, being the flutist that I am, I blow across the cut ends to see if I can get a tone out of them. And what I get is; 6-5-b3-1 in the key of Danger Bird. I am not making this up.
